The Legend of Shangri-La Cluster Pays - How to Play

This game uses the Cluster Pays mechanic.

 

Cluster Pays

If there are multiple identical symbols next to each other, either horizontally or vertically, the symbols are considered to be part of a cluster.

A win is awarded for a cluster of at least nine symbols.

Wins from multiple clusters that are awarded at the same time are added together.

Multiple clusters that are not adjacent to each other pay as separate clusters.

 

Stacked Symbols

The Guru and Free Spins symbols can appear as stacked symbols when they land anywhere on the reels.

The Guru symbol covers one position during the Sticky Re-spins feature and when affected by a Substitution symbol.

Stacked symbols are either fully or partially displayed depending on how the reel lands.

If a Substitution symbol landing on a stacked Guru symbol and transforms, the visible part of the Guru symbol will transform into a new, single version.

 

Substitution Symbols

Substitution symbols transform into the symbol adjacent to them if it can create a winning combination.

All Substitution symbols transform into the highest value symbol if there are only Substitution symbols on the reels.

Substitution symbols cannot substitute for Free Spin symbols.

Main Game Features

There are four features available to be triggered during the main game:

• Random Substitutions
• Sticky Re-spins
• Nudge Reel
• Free Spins

 

Random Substitutions Feature

Landing at least two clusters in the main game will trigger the Random Substitutions feature.

At the beginning of the feature, at least one Substitution symbol is added to a position that is adjacent to the existing clusters.

Substitution symbols are added until a win is achieved.

Substitution symbols can be added to positions adjacent to clusters or other Substitution symbols, except on reels one and six.

If there are three Free Spins symbols on the reels, either fully or partially, or if the Nudge Reel has been activated, it is not possible to trigger the Random Substitutions feature.

Sticky Re-spins Feature

Landing two non-winning clusters on the reels will trigger the Sticky Re-spins feature.

One cluster must contain between five and eight symbols.

If there are two symbols that meet the condition, the lowest-paying one is chosen.

The triggering symbol is called the Feature symbol - it is not possible to win on any other symbol during this feature.

Nudge Reel

If two Free Spin symbols land with another Free Spin symbol on the right-hand side, the third symbol will be nudged back onto the reels to trigger the Free Spins Bonus.

If nudging can increase, decrease, or create a winning cluster, the feature will not be triggered.

The left-most symbol will be chosen if there are numerous symbols that fulfil the criteria.

Free Spins Bonus

Land three or more Free Spin Scatter symbols on the reels to trigger the Free Spins Bonus.

The number of free spins awarded is dependent on how many Free Spin symbols are used to trigger the bonus, as shown below:
