Single Deck Blackjack

Single Deck Blackjack is the trilling casino game, featuring several betting options to take your game to new heights.

Single Deck Blackjack - How to Play

To win at Single Deck blackjack, your hand needs to be closer to 21 than the dealer's without exceeding it.

    How to Play

Place your bets to start the game, then click 'Deal'.

This will see both you and the dealer dealt your initial cards - you'll receive two cards face up.

Continue to draw cards until your hand totals 21, or gets as close to 21 as possible without exceeding it:

    • Hit - adds another card to your hand
    • Stand - lets the dealer know you don't want any more cards
    • Split - if your first two cards are of the same value, you can divide your hand into two separate hands (you must place a bet on the second hand that is equal to the amount wagered on your original bet).

You can only split with matching face cards in this game.

If you split with two Aces and the next card dealt has a value of 10, it won't count as blackjack - it will have a value of 21, but if the dealer draws blackjack, they win.

    • Double Down - this lets you double your original bet. You'll only be dealt one more card thereafter, and only if your initial hand equal nine, 10 or 11

    Game Rules

You win blackjack if your first two cards comprise an Ace with a 10 or picture card.

If your hand exceeds 21, you 'bust' and lose, regardless of the dealer’s hand.

The dealer must draw on 16 and will always stand on 17 and above.

If your hand and the dealer’s hands are of the same value, the game will end in a ‘push' and your bet will be returned.

    Betting Options

There are three betting options available in Single Deck Blackjack:

    • Repeat and deal - this repeats your bet from the previous game
    • Let ‘em ride - this repeats your bet from the previous game, using all the winnings from that game (it's not available if you took out Insurance on your previous hand)
    • Double and Bet - doubles your bet from the previous game

    Card Values

    • Ace - one or 11, whichever benefits your hand most
    • Cards two to nine - face value
    • 10, Jack, Queen and King - these cards are all worth 10

    Insurance

If the dealer’s first card is an Ace, you can buy an Insurance bet at half the cost of your original wager.

In case of the dealer drawing blackjack, your insurance will pay out at 2:1 and your original wager will be lost

If the dealer does not have blackjack, you'll lose your insurance bet and the hand will resume as normal.

    Payouts

The payouts available in Single Deck Blackjack are as below:

    • Winning Hand - 1:1
    • Blackjack - 3:2
    • Insurance - 2:1

    Return to Player (RTP)

    Return To Player: 99.91%.

The expected return is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game.

For example, if we take $100 of wagers we will, on average, pay out $99.91 of wins.

This return is based on the player making the best choices.
