Pai Gow Poker - How to Play

At the start of the game, both you and the dealer will be dealt seven cards each.

You need to divide your cards into a High Hand (five cards) and Low Hand (two cards).

The aim of the game is to beat the dealer with both hands, so try to ensure that both hands have a decent chance of winning.

 

How to Win

• If both of your hands beat the dealer’s two hands, you win at a ratio of 1:1 (a 5% 'House fee' will be taken by the casino)
• If one of your hands beats the dealer, your stake will be returned
• If you lose both hands, your full stake will be lost

The Joker is not a true Wild card in this game - it can only be used to complete a Straight, Flush, Straight Flush or Royal Flush.

In all other cases, the Joker is classed as an Ace.

Before the cards have been dealt, you have the option to place a Bonus bet - the bonus payout will be determined by the seven cards you're originally dealt, before you split them into a High Hand and a Low Hand.

If you hold a named poker hand, the win will be displayed on-screen alongside the winning combination and payout odds. 

Your payout will appear in the win box at the end of the game.

How to Bet

Select your chip size and add it to the betting and bonus circles on the table.

Click ‘Undo’ to reduce your bet, or ‘Clear’ to remove it.

To start your game, click ‘Deal’.
