    Baccarat - How to Play

The aim of Baccarat is to accurately predict the outcome of a game between the player and the banker.

Whoever has the hand closest to a total of nine wins!

You can bet on the player, on the banker, on a tie, or on any combination of the three options.

    How to Play

Two cards are dealt to the player and banker to form an initial hand.

If either hand equals eight or nine, then it is classed as a 'natural' hand and both hands stand.

However, if the player's hand equals five or less then it will be dealt another card.

The banker will stand on a hand of six or more if the player does not draw a third card.

    Card Values

    • 10, Jack, Queen, King - zero
    • 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 - face value
    • Ace - one

If the initial hand equals more than 10, the second digit is the only one considered (i.e. 14 =4).

Hands equalling 10 or 20 are therefore considered as zero.

    Payouts

    • Player wins - 1:1
    • Banker wins - 1:1 (minus 5% commission)
    • Tie wins - 8:1

    Return To Player (RTP)

    Return To Player: 98.94%

The expected return is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game.

For example, if we take $100 of wagers we will, on average, pay out $98.94 of wins.
